• Seattle City Council candidate Bobby Forch

• "Criminal Records and Housing Discrimination"
• Panelists:

• Discussion topics included:
  • Incarceration rates being too high
  • Understanding if public safety would be increased or decreased by this proposal
  • Having a separation between employment screening and tenant screening
  • Cost would seem nominal as this would be more of a policy change.
  • Timeframe for getting this proposal passed is still unknown

    • Passed by unanimous voice vote.
  • Adoption of Endorsements Rules proposed by Michael Maddux and Rob Dolin
    • Article Three, Number 1: change "in which is a single candidate eligible for" to say: "in which a single candidate is eligible for".
    • Article Three, Number 2: change "Each member and PCO will vote by written ballot for as many candidates for each office for which endorsements are sought" to say: "Each member and PCO will vote by written ballot for as many candidates for each office as they so choose."
  • Resolution in support of Seattle paid sick days proposed by Imogene Williams
    • Passed by unanimous voice vote.
    • Amendment included to send copies to Mayor Mike Mcginn, all City Councilmembers, and County and State Legislators.
  • Resolution Opposing Proposed Magnuson Park Building 11 Lease proposed by Gail Chiarello
    • The motion was postponed until the May meeting by a vote of 11 in favor, 4 opposed.
