Rep. Jim McDermott's "Celebrating Our Roots" Potato Festival

Congressman Jim McDermott's 18th Annual “Celebrating Our Roots” Potato Festival will be held on Sunday, March 18th, from 5 pm – 7 pm at the Northgate Community Center, 10510 5th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98125. Rep. McDermott began the “Celebrating Our Roots” festival as a way to recognize and honor our ethnically diverse district and as a celebration of his own Irish heritage. Each year Jim’s Potato Festival is held in March close to St. Patrick’s Day, and features an “Irish” potato themed menu.
