2010 Endorsement Meeting Results

Voting members of the 43rd District Democrats cast their endorsement ballots last night at University Heights Community Center for upcoming races in the 2010 elections.

Two races, U.S. Senate and State Supreme Court Position 1, were stricken from the ballot because the candidates had not filed the King County Democratic Central Commitee questionaire, a requirement of the 43rd District Democrats endoresment rules. The body approved an amendment to the rules by vocal majority that will allow these races to be considered for endoresment at the district's next meeting on July 20.

To receive endorsement by the 43rd District Democrats, candidates and initiatives needed a 60 percent majority of the body. The results are as follows:
