Serve Your Neighborhood! Become a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO)

June 8, 2010

If you want to make a difference and support the Democratic Party in your neighborhood, your opportunity is here. This week you can file to be elected as a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO). Please note: The deadline is 4 p.m. on Friday, June 11 and Internet Explorer is the most compatible browser to use for registering.

PCOs are the foundation of the Democratic Party, and are responsible for getting out the vote in each precinct. You’ll be organizing and educating your neighbors about issues, candidates and elections. By walking your precinct and calling voters, you’ll be building and growing the Democratic Party as you become a local leader. If this is your first time serving, we'll be here to help you every step along the way with our PCO resources.

For more information about filing to be a PCO, the King County Democratic Central Committee has a great list of resources of everything you'll need to know about filing for PCO in 2010.
