Campaign ENDORSEMENTS

Our bylaws state that

Any resolution that explicitly declares support for:

(a) a candidate or campaign within an election, or

(b) a campaign or position on a ballot measure regardless of whether the measure has qualified to be placed on the ballot

shall be considered a motion to endorse the same, and shall be subject to the provisions governing endorsements defined under Article 10.

In order to cast your vote as a member of the 43rd District Democrats, you must register as a member.

We endorse, or occasionally oppose, through resolutions. The results may be viewed on the “2021 Endorsements” tab at the left. Please direct any questions regarding endorsements to elections@43rddemocrats.org.

Endorsement Process

The membership will vote on resolutions in support of, opposition to, or to endorse an effort that will be on the ballot. Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, we vote in virtual meetings, and votes are conducted using Google Forms.

Voting eligiblity

To vote on 43rd District Democrats resolutions:

• All current Elected and Appointed Precinct Committee Officers. All appointed Precinct Coordinators.

• All 43rd District Democrats members must have active membership by the start of the meeting in which a resolution is proposed. If you still need to renew your membership please do so ASAP so that we can get you your voting code before the meeting begins.
